A Developmental Pediatrician is a physician who has completed training in general pediatrics followed by a 3-year fellowship in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents who have a variety of neurodevelopmental diagnoses including:

Dr. Sonia V. George is an experienced Developmental Pediatrician who has been in practice in the Metro Atlanta area for the past 23 years. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986, then graduated from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1990. Her pediatric residency training was completed at the Medical College of Virginia in 1993, followed by 3 years of fellowship training in Developmental Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s Seashore House in 1996.
